Wiz Khalifa performs at Big Daddy's (Tallahassee, FL)

What a month, week, and day it was for Diamond in the Rough ENT. leading up to the Wiz Khalifa show at Big Daddy's in Tallahassee, FL. From trying to put together a tour for our artists, to working hard in the studio to get these new tracks down for Donnie D...it was extremely stressful, frustrating but fulfilling at the same time. I must admit, adversity drives me, and that's where my appreciation comes from in this industry. Once Wednesday night arrived, Wiz came to Tally-Ho and SHUT IT DOWN at Big Daddy's. I mean, Khalifa's performance sounded just like it does in my car! To add insult to injury, my artist Donnie D'Niro also shut it down, and opened up GREAT for Wiz. Shout's out to Nuttso too, who also came and blessed the stage. I took over 300 pictures that night with the help of Krissi (good look), and the FLip camera was on point, so stay tuned for the video COMING SOON!

Exclusive interview with Double D of U&I Entertainment

Hello World! It is my esteemed pleasure to introduce to you DOUBLE D of U&I Entertainment. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida Double D is an artist/producer who is penetrating the industry slowly but surely, and with him he brings the entire package! Double D a.k.a "The Born Ruler" isn't your average street rapper (he produces, mixes and masters his own records). Now, how many street rappers do you know can produce, mix and master their own songs, and actually come out sounding good? Well, Double D is that dude, and recently he has been gaining the attention of some of the top DJ's, Producers, Managers and Executives in the game. His next highly anticipated Mixtape album is titled, Trapaganza the Re-Up and will be hosted by Bigga Rankin (COMING SOON). Double D remains patient and understands that his day to shine on the world stage will come, but until then he intends on making more great music and street anthems for the rest of the world to embrace.

50 Cent "Ok You're Right" NEW VIDEO!!!

Now 50 Cent really showed out in his new video "Ok You're Right". The graphics and effects are absolutely dope, not to mention the concept. Thanks to the late great Michael Jackson, these are the type of music videos that were made possible by his genius. This video actually gave me the creeps when I first watched it. The Mad Clown faces and I never got along. Remember "IT" the movie? FLASHBACK!

What??? Steve McNair Shot to Death?

In the words of Marvin Gaye ..."What's going on?". What is our creator trying to tell us? I'm not sure, but it is definitely a time where I find myself counting my blessings (3 times a day), and thanking God for the good and bad. This has been one of the most difficult and devastating months that I have ever experienced. First, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays, then Steve McNair.

Arguably, Steve McNair was the best African-American quarterback ever, and the second highest drafted black quarterback ever. What a tragic month this has been, but this only confirms that yes, celebrities and athletes are indeed human and vulnerable to all dangers if not more.

We often get caught up in the lavish lifestyle and everything material that comes with being famous, but fail to realize the responsibilities and challenges that come with that lifestyle. Unfortunately, celebrities and athletes are targets, so it's imperative that we all remain humble and thankful. These are just my reflections regarding the events that have transpired these last couple of weeks, and It's been time for us to acknowledge the bad, but more importantly accept the good in all our lives.
